Last friday I went to the Liberty Science Center with a couple of friends. I havent been there since I was in elementary school! I don't think anyone doesn't know about this place, but if you don't its an interactive science musuem and learning center located in Jersey City, New Jersey. When we got there all we saw were a bunch of middle school kids with chaperones looking at the different exhibits that the center had to offer. The LSC has three themed floors: Environment, Health, and Invention. It was fun being part of the few 19-21 year olds there. The first thing we did was watch "The Human Body" in IMAX, which was very interesting. Then we checked out all the exhibits. The part that I missed most about the LSC was the touch tunnel which is no longer there. The touch tunnel was a carpeted tube through which one navigated relying on other senses rather than sight. Although, going to the Liberty Science Center is always a fun experience! Good times, Good company.
Back in September of 2009, I applied to start as an intern for FOAM Apparel. Lucky for me, I got an email back suggesting to come all the way to Teaneck, NJ for an interview.
After 9 long months, I'm still standing strong as I continually represent one of the up and coming urban clothing brands in the East Coast.
So just recently, I had the opportunity to be in charge of the Internship Program as I find the most driven, motivated and dedicated college students looking to represent this company. As of now, FOAM is currently looking for Clothing Designers and Web Developers.

Dear Summer, I know you missed me! Happy June 1st everyone. Is anyone going out of the country for vacation? In a few weeks I will be relaxing in Cancun, Mexico and i can't wait!!! Reuben is another member of the FOAM Family that graduated this year. He now has a bachelors degree in nursing and I'm proud to call him one of my cousins. Congrats RJ!!!
As you can see, it's been awhile since a blog post was made. FOAM has been very busy rebuilding the website as well as brainstorming new ideas that can soon change the face of this company.

Last Saturday, we headed up to Mahway, NJ to help promote the 11th Annual Barrios, hosted by Ramapo College's own FASA . Full of excitement, experience and entertainment, we had the honor to be one of the vendors at this event. As one of the entertainers of this prestigious showcase, Alfa Garcia was there to help spread the importance of expression and her love of music.
